TRAILER: ?Hereafter? with Matt Damon

This new trailer for the Peter Morgan-scripted drama "Hereafter" hits the whole spiritual thriller vibe a little too hard on the nose. But with Matt Damon in the lead (and in a cozy sweater), and everyone else grappling with grief and mortality in orchestra-soaring ways, this thing should bring in a whole ocean of audiences.
Clint Eastwood directed, and it looks to be playing in the same sandbox as "Ghost," which 20 years ago grossed more than half a billion dollars worldwide. Warner Bros. will release "Hereafter" on October 22. But first, it will screen at the Toronto film festival Sunday night, and then at the New York Film Festival in October.
